'APS Tigers' Cheerleading Squad Won the FutureCheer Schools & Colleges Competition last weekend held at Crystal Palace.

They also received a spirit stick award in recognition of their fantastic spirit and teamwork.

The team trained hard after school and weekends and were rewarded by winning first place in the Senior Level 2 division. Their showmanship and spirit was also recognised when they were awarded a spirit stick. Many thanks to all of the squad who trained so hard and to the parents who supported us, especially those who cheered us on in the stands.

A special mention should go to Becca Schofield who has competed in all 6 competitions Tigers have entered and who with Amy Mercer was invaluable for the help they gave Ms Burrell on the day.
