Park View ran its first ever Sports Award Evening and it proved to be a fantastic success with six acts performing including the up and coming artist Egypt and a turnout of over 150 guests.

The night started off with an opening speech from Mr Atherton (Headteacher PVA). 

The first performers on the stage were PVA's young dancers followed by the awards ceremony for Effort and Achievement.

Before the break PVA's "Old" Dance Company performed than food was served in the new indoor street by the Foodtech GCSE students.

Later in the evening awards were given out to talented students and the players of the year also received trophies. At last but not least we have thanked all team managers for their great effort and support throughout the year.

Other great acts followed like 4 Real singers and the Parallel dancers, but Egypt stole the show. Students loved her and queued up for an autograph and for a photo with the star.

The closing speech was given by Ben Smart (PE 2nd in charge) whose brainchild is this event.

Since yesterday evening many students came to the PE department thank for the unforgettable evening.
