Primary Sportshall Athletics Festival

The first ever Haringey Primary Schools’ Sportshall Athletics Competition turned out to be a remarkably close competition at St Thomas more School Sports Hall on Wednesday 25th January.
Congratulations to all of you and your athletes and many thanks to all for ‘mucking in’ and making it happen. Terrific work, as ever, from Alex, Marios & Laura and the team of students from St Thomas More School, thank you.
Rhodes Avenue were trailing Coleridge after the initial running events but came through in the field events and the relays.
Rhodes Avenue will now represent Haringey at the Level 3 Regional event at Edmonton Leisure Centre on 13th March. We wish them the best of luck.
Fantastic feedback from all teachers, parents and students involved on Wednesday saying how much they enjoyed the event.
Remember to tell your athletes about the free training sessions with Nick Anderson, Phoebe Thomas and Christine Bowmaker at the WHLCSC track every Tuesday at 4.00pm
