Sportshall Athletics begins this week, details are below:

There will be 4 fixtures all at St Thomas More School starting at 4.00pm  Winner to represent Haringey at the next regional stage of the school games at Edmonton Leisure Centre on 13th March:

  • Thurs Jan 12th Y7 Girls’ team &  Y7 Boys’ team
  • Thurs Jan 19th Y8 Girls’ team &  Y8 Boys’ team
  • Thurs Jan 26th Y7 Girls’ team &  Y7 Boys’ team
  • Thurs Feb 2nd Y8 Girls’ team &  Y8 Boys’ team

Each team consists of a minimum of 5 athletes and maximum of 8 so you can get your boys & girls teams in one minibus.

No athlete is permitted in more than 3 track and 2 field events.

Events:

TRACK: 2 lap; 4 lap; 6 lap; 8 lap Paarlauf.
FIELD: Standing long; Standing triple; Vertical jump; Shot Put; Speed Bounce.
RELAY: 4 x 1 lap; 4 x 2 lap

Competition must start promptly at 4.00pm. Please confirm if you are entering by Tuesday 10th to: Dave Thomas, dave.a.thomas@blueyonder.co.uk so that Alex Rosen and his team at STM can plan effectively.
